The U.S. Embassy advises U.S. citizens that due to expected protests in the vicinity, the U.S. Embassy and the American Center in Colombo will be closed to the public from 12:00 p.m. (noon) on October 30, 2018 and is expected to re-open at 07:00 a.m. on October 31, 2018.
