The U. S. Embassy informs U. S. citizens that a demonstration by the Front Line Socialist Party is planned in front of the US Embassy today, Tuesday, 17th October 2017. Although the time and expected size of the protest have not been confirmed, it could begin as early as 10 am, and involve up to 300 protestors. Expect heavy traffic and congestion in these areas.
Even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational and escalate into violence. You should avoid areas of demonstrations, and exercise caution if in the vicinity of any large gatherings, protests, or demonstrations.
