There is a student protest march on Galle Road in Colombo 3 (Kollupitiya).  Several groups coming from different directions are meeting in an unknown location near Galle Road.  The Police have closed Kollupitiya Junction and part of Galle Road.  The embassy recommends avoiding areas near any protest/parade.
