There are three demonstrations planned for today (Tuesday, March 8): two at 12:00 PM and one at 1:00 PM.

Events:
- The United National Party (UNP) will hold a demonstration at Parliament Circle on Sri Jayawardenapura Main Road, against the current economic crisis in Sri Lanka, at 12:00 PM. 200 participants are expected to attend.
- The Women’s Front of JVP will hold a protest march, from Technical Junction (Colombo 10) to Fort Railway Station (Colombo 01), at 12:00 PM. 500 participants are expected to attend.
- The Women’s Front of Peratugami Samajawadi Front will hold a demonstration at Lipton Circus (Colombo 07) at 1:00 PM. 300 participants are expected to attend.
U.S. government personnel are advised to avoid the area.
Actions to Take:
- Avoid the areas of the demonstration or march.
- Exercise caution if unexpectedly in the vicinity of large gatherings or protests.
- Monitor local media for updates.
